This oil on canvas titled Strange World, has always been a favorite of Andrew, my son. I spent a considerable amount of my youth basking in the glow of the 1960's. It was a remarkable period of time for the advancement of visual and musical artistic expression. Can you dig it?

ReplyDeletewhen I was a young boy, a thousand years ago, the church my family attended had stained glass windows that were captivating to me. It was always the most spiritual thing about the whole church experience to me, looking at those windows with back lighting provided by the morning sun. This painting does echo that lighting effect in some ways. Thanks for noticing.
